Over the years, we have had almost 20 different musicians in the band, and the 2025 ensemble of 8 is a diverse mixture of talent, all connected to CHOP in one way or another. In fact, many members work at CHOP on a daily basis. Most have played in bands over the years, even though a few can’t remember exactly when. Nonetheless, the band has a blast along with its fans, and it’s all for a great cause! All proceeds go to CHOP.
Why the Name ‘Osler Circle?’
The Beatles often wrote about places in their lives. Penny Lane was a street in Liverpool where the lads grew up. Strawberry Field was the name of a Salvation Army children’s home just around the corner from John’s birthplace. And of course, we all know about Abbey Road in London. So, when it came time to name the band, all we had to do was stand in front of the hospital — and there it was. The street sign. It was meant to be. Osler Circle.
